Privately pressed and seldom distributed by the artist upon its release - Mitsu’s “水の彩 Clouds In The Water” from 1989 is a beautiful artifact of what was thought to be the end of the vinyl music era. Mitsu’s piano and keyboard playing floats alongside gorgeous and lush textures supported by the jazz ensemble The Cheshire Cats - beautifully crossing into several different jazz, classical, new age, and environmental music compositions (Mitsu was also a composer of kankyo ongaku - including the train melody for Sendai Station in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan).
