Recorded live in the Rainforest Birdhouse at the Rio Grande Zoo in Albuquerque over three recording sessions in 1984 & 1985, Patrick Lysaght’s “For The Birds” features musical collaborations with over 150 birds, representing 42 species in total. Birdsong is embellished by light playing on the balaphon, Nyamuazi guitar, talking drum, and many other instruments in these landmark interspecies collaborative recordings. Original sealed stock copies offered in collaboration with the artist.
